Water practice: In 2020, I received training in Colorado from the traveling masters of an aquatic healing modality originating in Oaxaca, called Janzu. After this immersion, I subsequently travelled to the bottom of Mexico to explore this unique water practice in greater depth on three more occasions with this water community, at a year-round bioluminescent lagoon. During the course of this engagement I have become very close with the water element and have since facilitated sessions for hundreds of people, bringing them into deeper connection with the waters, and so themselves, through this art. This practice can be witnessed by searching “Janzu Colorado” on you-tube. Art sculpture: My current engagement of my own life began in 2017 with plant medicine in a foreign country, which led me directly to a discovery and deep fascination with sacred geometry, which I haven’t put down since. In late 2021, I began sculpting the alphabet of form as found in this language, and related existential forms, through a new medium involving sculpture development via software, a laser cutter and then assembly using materials such as wood, plastic and even food.
